About Simon Pearce Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing workshop in Kilkenny, Ireland. Prior to opening the workshop in 1971, Simon's design aesthetic and skills evolved during time spent at Shanagarry Pottery, which was owned by his parents. Simon then gained glassblowing expierence working in European glass houses, traveling the world and through studies at the Royal College of Art in London.
From inception, Simon's vision has been to create products that are beautifully designed, produced with premium quality materials and time-honored techniques and intended for a lifetime of everyday use.
